What is eSi?
eSi – electronic sales information – replaces paper reports with electronic files that the manufacturer sends to sales agencies. It requires a simple change in process on the part of the manufacturer, who sends information that is already in its database, but in electronic format, versus printing hard copy reports or invoices.

I get copies of commission statements from my factories. Isn’t enough?
If you only receive summary reports or commission statements, you may be working without the critical information needed to build and maintain personal relationships. As result, you may not know about a sale for months – and are likely using your agency software strictly as an accounting tool, rather than an in-depth sales analysis tool.

Is electronic transmission faster than receiving paper reports?
Absolutely! You’ll receive information on the same day the manufacturer sends it. You can receive commission statements, invoices, even invoices to the line item, electronically. You can then process the information immediately and if desired, distribute it to sales reps in the field. Your database is always up-to-date. In addition, receiving electronic transmission of sales data replaces hours of manual data entry, freeing your staff to focus on more important duties.

What does my agency do with the files I receive from factories?
Once you receive the file, you import it into dynaMACS, which is done with a few keystrokes. The data is then immediately available for distribution to sales reps.

How do I match up manufacturers’ customer codes with dynaMACS codes?
Upon implementation, manufacturer codes are entered into dynaMACS, and the system matches the codes automatically during all future transactions. When a factory sends a report containing a new customer, dynaMACS recognizes it as a customer that has not been entered in the past. The agency follows easy on-screen instructions for entering the new customer, and from that point forward, dynaMACS always recognizes that customer.

Manufacturers use different customer codes than my agency. How will I keep track?
dynaMACS stores every manufacturer’s customer code and automatically matches it with your agency codes. You don’t do a thing – the process is automatic, and seamless.
